Chongqing\u2019s metro transportation includes subway and monorail, while many other cities only have subway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Maps is not always accurate. Some metro stations are marked as \u201cPermanently closed,\u201d but they are in normal operation. I strongly recommend downloading the most commonly used map app in China, \u201cGaode Map.\u201d After entering a destination, it will provide detailed public transit route planning. Gaode Map currently does not support English, so you can copy and paste the Chinese name of the location you want to go to into the search box to look up the metro route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
